Second Step Program
At Workman Elementary we use the Second Step: Social Skills for Early Childhood Program. This program is based on the latest research and teaches students the skills kids they need to succeed socially and academically Each grade level features developmentally appropriate ways to teach core social-emotional skills such as empathy, emotion management, and problem solving.
Students can earn Wolverine Bucks by following our PBIS: Positive Behavior Matrix. For example, students can earn Wolverine Bucks for wearing their uniform, keeping our school clean by picking up trash, demonstrating Respect for others and more.
Wolverine Bucks can be spent in the Wolverine Student store at the end of the trimester! Good luck wolverines... and start collecting those Bucks!
