Workman Elementary LEAD is looking forward to this year's upcoming Readers are Leaders Event scheduled later in May.

Leaders are Readers

Our LEAD program invited Community Leaders to read to our classes. The morning started with a welcome reception, then student ambassadors picked up their assigned Readers and took them back to class. The Readers all had a wonderful morning spending time with the students, reading to them, and answering questions about their lives and how reading plays a role in their work. The Leaders read to all classes from grades TK through Grade 6.
